Where does Bird & Davis Ltd deliver to?
Bird & Davis Ltd will deliver anywhere in mainland UK as well as non-mainland UK*. Wherever possible, we’ll even deliver internationally. However, please be aware that: Certain items, such as larger canvases may only be available for delivery via our own van in the London area. Paints, medium, solvents and certain other items can only be delivered to UK Mainland addresses through Tuffnells.
How much will it cost?
Mainland UK Next Working Day service: £15.00 (non guaranteed) We send all our orders via Tuffnells, who deliver on working days i.e. Monday – Friday. Delivery can be anytime between 08:00 and 18:00. If you need delivery for a certain time of day please order by telephone on 020 7485 3797 Our Van Service We are able deliver goods ordered by our customers with Our van within London and various parts of the UK . These orders will need to be placed over the phone where we can provide you with a quote for delivery. Size restrictions apply. For more information about this service and any offers related please call our Mail Order team on 020 7485 3797. Non-mainland UK* Unfortunately, delivering goods to non-mainland UK means that we have to use additional carriers to reach you so we cannot offer Premium Delivery to these locations, and certain items such as canvases and easels may not be available. The charge for delivery to non-mainland UK addresses (including Northern Ireland) varies, therefore we ask you call us for a quote. International Bird & Davis Ltd dispatches international orders using a registered courier service. We cannot offer Premium Delivery to these locations. Certain exceptionally large products may be subject to additional delivery charges. These products are clearly marked on the site and you can call our customer service team on 020 7485 3797 for a delivery cost.
How will my order be delivered?
The majority of our orders are delivered on a fully trackable Parcelforce service. For smaller orders we use the Royal Mail service. For same day deliveries in the London area we use our courier service. Please note we cannot accept private couriers due to insurance and liability. On special large orders or direct deliveries we may use supplier’s own delivery partners. To track your order please contact us.
How do you package your orders?
The majority of the boxes we use to package our orders have been recycled or re-used. This cuts down on waste packaging. All orders are securely packaged to prevent damage during delivery.
How do I make a purchase online?
Making a purchase is simple! Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Do I need to add VAT to my order?
All prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT (where applicable), which also applies to the delivery charges.
How do I pay for my online purchase?
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch and Solo. Your card will not be charged until the order is ready to be sent, with the exception of special order or custom items which are charged at the time the order is placed. All prices advertised on this website are for customers purchasing via this website only, using credit or debit cards. Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation which indicates that your order has been received. Please note that this email confirmation does not constitute any form of contract between you and Bird & Davis Ltd. When your order has been accepted, you will receive an invoice which will also act as a contract between us.
What happens if an item I want is 'Temporarily Out of Stock'?
Simply contact us by email or telephone and we will let you know when we expect to have it back in stock.
What happens to my credit card details when I pay online?
When an order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted.Online credit card payments are processed by a third-party payment service provider called SAGEPAY. Your card details will not be seen by anyone at Bird & Davis Ltd or SAGEPAY.
What happens to my personal details when I order via the website?
Bird & Davis Ltd does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. We will only send marketing emails if you subscribe to our mailing list or check the relevant box in the checkout.
Does Bird & Davis Ltd offer a money-back guarantee?
We guarantee your satisfaction on your order. All of our products come with a 14 day guarantee, providing all goods are in an unused and resaleable condition. Any product purchased comes with a 14 return policy, All returns will be reviewed before refunds are completed, this can take unto 5 working days All custom made stretchers, canvases and specialised paint 200ml or above will be subject to a 20% handling charge for cancellation of order.

I'm under 18, is there anything I can't buy from Bird & Davis Ltd ?
If you are under 18, we are not permitted by law to sell you intoxicating solvents – examples are solvent based glues, aerosols, correction fluids, marker pens and thinners.
I'm under 16, is there anything I can't buy from Bird & Davis Ltd ?
If you are under 16, we are not permitted by law to sell you the following items: Intoxicating solvents – as above Knives (including blades) Cans of spray paint By completing the checkout you are confirming that you are of the required age.
