Our oil primed linen artist surfaces are exclusively supplied by Claessens, loomed from highest grade linen flax. The glued linen is sanded then a layer of zinc white primer bound with linseed oil is applied, the dried for 3 days, a final coating layer based on titanium white is applied then dried for a further 10 days. The oil primed linen canvas rolls are available in extra fine, fine, medium / fine, medium, medium / coarse and coarse textures. Our collection of oil primed linen artist surfaces is suitable for oil paints only. Linen canvas is traditionally the artist surface of choice and make beautiful artist canvases for your art. All oil primed linen canvases are available in rolls of 1m and 10m.
