Gum Damar/Turpentine. Dries hard and clear to a high gloss finish. Thin with turps to use as a varnish or use neat and combine with other ingredients as part of an oil medium. Less prone to blooming than mastic varnish. Removable with white spirit or turpentine. Always allow 6 months for an oil painting to dry and cure before applying a final picture varnish.
